Security Clearance - IngersollThe Security Clearance Coordinator will support the security program in compliance with the Industrial Security Manual (ISM), and associated corporate and government policies and directives, in connection with the Public Services Procurement Canada (PSPC) Industrial Security Program (ISP). The ISM is produced by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), the International Industrial Security Directorate (IISD) and PSPC.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESServe as the Alternate Company Security Officer ('ACSO') in relation to the Designated Organization Screening (DOS) and Facility Security Clearance (FSC) within the Company.Process coworkers who require access to Protected / Classified information, assets, or Protected / Classified work sites and ensure accurate and complete personnel security screening documentation is submitted.Issue and terminate security access fobs to employees.Provide change of circumstance reports for personnel regarding their security screening status as outlined in the ISM.Ensure coworkers receive required security briefings upon notification of having been granted a Reliability Status or Security Clearance.Submit required documentation to terminate the Reliability Status or Security Clearance of coworkers who no longer require access to Protected / Classified information and assets or controlled sites.Maintain a current list of security screened coworkers in accordance with the ISM.Brief coworkers working at client sites concerning relevant security requirements.Safeguard personnel security screening files.Complete Request for Visit forms.Inform the ISP prior to any physical move or new construction affecting safeguarding of Protected / Classified information or assets.Oversee the Security Requirements Check List (SRCL) and contract security clauses.Obtain approval from the DSO and ISP prior to subcontracting contracts with security requirements.Administer security orientation and training program.Interface with government customers on security related issues.Act as official contact with the ISP to address security issues.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.Process service providers DOS or FSC applications who require access to Protected / Classified information, assets, or work sites and ensure accurate and complete personnel security screening documentation is submitted.Ensure service providers receive required security briefings upon notification of having been granted a DOS or FSC.Submit required documentation to terminate the DOS or FSC of service providers no longer requiring access to Protected / Classified information and assets or controlled sites.Maintain a current list of security-screened service providers and their employees in accordance with the ISM.Safeguard service providers screening files.Oversee the Security Requirements Check List (SRCL) and contract security clauses.Obtain approval from the Contract Security Program prior to subcontracting contracts with security requirements.QualificationsMust be able to obtain and maintain RCMP Reliability Security Clearance.Completion of any required Company Security Officer (CSO) certifications and training.Thorough knowledge of the ISP, the ISM and any related corporate and government policies and directives.Knowledge of supporting security disciplines, including document control, visit certifications, personnel security processing, and security processes and procedures.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences and all levels of the organization, both verbally and through written communications.Dependable, responsive, customer-focused, possessing diplomacy, tact, excellent judgment, discretion, initiative, and able to perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment.Ability to make sound decisions, manage time, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions.Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills.Licenses and / or Professional AccreditationCurrently hold (or willing and able to obtain) Secret Level 2 security clearance.Hold (or willing and able to obtain) RCMP Reliability security clearance.
