Location : Montreal East (3 days in-office and 2 days remote)

Salary : $85K-$95K

Do you have experience as a strategic buyer? Are you looking for a hybrid position in Montreal East? Our client, a stable company in the food industry with over 100 years of history, is looking for a Strategic Buyer to join their team.

Your Profile :

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business administration
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement techniques (processes and procedures) and MRP
  • Experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or similar industries
  • Perfectly bilingual, as they have suppliers and clients across Canada and the United States

Your Role :

  • Define and implement procurement strategies for cost reduction
  • Negotiate and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers
  • Analyze offers and qualify new supply sources
  • Monitor and validate service agreements and contracts
  • Manage purchase requests and order processing
  • Support operations and innovation projects
  • Maintain procurement documentation and ISO standards
  • Participate in supplier evaluations and continuous improvement efforts
