Job Description

Overview

We provide our customers with the manufacturing capabilities and purchasing power of a global Electronics Manufacturing Services provider. By delivering regional and personalized support best provided by a smaller company, we strive to build lasting relationships and create close and valued partnerships with our customers. Our singular focus is to help security experts, clinical professionals and high-tech developers solve real-world problems and issues.

PFC Flexible Circuits Ltd, an OSIE Company, is seeking a permanent SMT Operator to join their team. The SMT Operator will operate and monitor SMT equipment, including automated and semi-automated stencil printers, pick and place equipment, reflow ovens, solder paste and AOI units, and X-Ray equipment. This person should be knowledgeable on solder paste handling and paste types, as well as have knowledge of lead-free RoHS assembly concepts.

  • This position offers a $1.50 / hour shift differential for 3rd shift hours of operation (12 : 00 am - 8 : 30 am).

Responsibilities

  • Operation of pick and place units, including Panasonic AM, BM, and NPG equipment.
  • Operation of X-Ray and AOI equipment as needed.
  • Set up, operate and maintain SMT stencil printers.
  • Perform printed solder paste visual inspection, recognitions of water-soluble and no-clean based solder pastes.
  • Set-up and operation of Heller reflow overs.
  • SMT printer and stencil cleaning.
  • Feeder set-up for SMT lines.
  • Troubleshooting of SMT equipment issues.
  • Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

    • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ years prior experience operating SMT paste printers desired.
  • Ability to recognize solder paste packaging labels.
  • Familiar with ESD, RoHS and MSDS concepts is needed.
  • Attention to detail & good dexterity skills & eyes coordination to attach flex PCB onto pallets are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in the business language (English).
  • Team player.
