We specialize in landscape construction, maintenance and snow removal. Currently, our dedicated and hardworking team is seeking a new Landscape Construction Crew Leader to join us, to lead our crew in delivering high-quality landscaping projects. In this role you will oversee all on-site aspects of our landscape construction projects. You will :
Manage the execution of construction projects, including planning labor and equipment requirements, material deliveries and timing to ensure completion of jobs within project deadlines
Manage safety, quality, and productivity of work at sites and / or in the shop / yard
Assist in preparing job sites prior to starting projects
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule day to day work activities of a crew of 2-4 employees
Delegate job tasks to appropriate crew members and assist in the completion of landscape constructions
Conduct on site orientations with employees, and employee training
Operate various tools and equipment, including heavy equipment, chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovel, hammers, drills, etc.
Assist in construction of walkways, fences, decks, etc.
Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to delegate and complete work activities
Meet with subcontractors to supervise quality, efficiency, and deadlines
Complete and submit required daily paperwork
Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization
Ensure all work activities are carried out safely and efficiently, and in compliance with government and company PPE standards as well as local health and safety laws and regulations

5 + years of experience in the landscape / construction industry
Valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment and materials
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
Ability to work outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, cold
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
