POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the PDC Manager, the Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy (OS&D and Cycle Count) and integrity by performing daily parts discrepancy investigation.

Additionally, this position will be investigating, monitoring and authorizing dealer's claims (SS & SW).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Research inventory discrepancies and resolve variances
  • Monitor daily cycle count related to OS&D - MP3
  • Act as a liaison between MP1 & MP3 to address notifications, monitor inventory counts and ensure variances are addressed in a timely manner
  • Support QA division with vendor claim submissions and tracking
  • Investigate daily backorders and work in unison with PDC supervision
  • Responsible for management reports and analysis
  • Maintain inventory accuracy metrics and reports for management
  • Coordinate and integrate efforts across departments to enhance inventory accuracy
  • Coach employees and reinforce standards on achieving inventory efficiencies
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a PDC environment
  • Must be certified on operating equipment
  • Must be proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Must be team oriented and customer service focused
  • Solid organization and time management skills
