Elementary Special Education Teacher

The Hamilton R-2 School District is currently accepting applications for an Elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Knowledge of the special education referral process and experience doing academic testing is a plus. The district is located 40 miles east of St. Joseph at the intersection of Hwy 36 and Hwy 13. Hamilton Elementary School has an enrollment of approximately 305 students PK-5th grade.

Ideal candidates should have proper certification, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of the Missouri Learning Standards. Candidates should also know positive behavior support, strong classroom management, and be willing to collaborate and work in a teaching team environment.
