Bus Drivers – Coach & Industrial

Diversified Transportation is currently seeking local, safety-focused Coach and Industrial Bus Drivers to join our Fort McMurray operations. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Position Details:

• Competitive hourly wages with pension
• Coach drivers: $ per hour + $ per hour pension
• Industrial Bus Drivers: $ per hour + $ per hour pension
• Rotation schedules are based on business needs and operational requirements
• Employer-paid benefits after 120 days
• Company-provided uniforms
• Paid Training
• No accommodation is provided- drivers must live locally or be able to arrange their own lodging

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate coach and/or industrial buses (white school bus)
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Deliver excellent customer service to passengers and clients
• Ensure compliance with Provincial Hours of Service/Logbooks and adhere to all Diversified Transportation’s policies and procedures
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Complete and submit daily DVCR’s and FLRA’s

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 or 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience operating motor coaches, school buses or other similar large vehicles
• Familiarity and good knowledge of Fort McMurray and the surrounding area considered an asset
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to obtain clearance for:
• Driving Record Check (Abstract and Pre-Employment Check Ride)
• Physical Demands Analysis (PDA)
• Drug & Alcohol Test (D&A)
• Criminal Record Check
