Maintenance & Reliability Mechanic I

Description

This position encompasses all maintenance functions necessary to ensure efficient plant operations. This includes optimization of overall equipment efficiency, throughput, and strict adherence to safety policies / procedures.

This role provides technical guidance, training and coaching to other maintenance team members, etc. This position will perform a variety of tasks which include setting-up equipment, troubleshooting, equipment repair maintenance. Assisting with line trials and supporting the preventative maintenance program to mitigate repair costs and unscheduled interruptions to the business.

The Maintenance Technician must demonstrate agility and the capability to handle multiple priorities in all serviced departments. Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with Safe Work Practices, cGMP, Standard Operating Procedures, company policies and strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience : 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electromechanical maintenance within a high-speed manufacturing or packaging environment
• Strong Mechanical knowledge, including troubleshooting and repairing gearboxes, motors, pumps, bearings, and pneumatics.
• Education : Technical diploma in industrial maintenance, Mechanical technology
