A 2024 summer job opportunity for an Engineering student, who will be starting their 2nd or 3rd year of study in September 2024.
This is an ideal opportunity to gain hands on experience within the Paper industry. We offer ambitious post-secondary students the opportunity to take on challenging assignments within the Sonoco Brantford Paper Mill’s maintenance function.
As a summer student, you will work with the Plant Engineer on projects related to maintenance with maintenance planning and MP 2 related work, throughout the duration of the program.
Requirements :
- Qualified candidates must be enrolled in a College or University
- Available to work for the full program i.e., May to August 2024
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is preferred; particularly in Excel
- Must be detail oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and be self-motivated
- Good written, communication and report writing skills
- Qualified candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada
