Communications Specialist

Our client, a top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a Communications Specialist for a 12-month contract. The role is hybrid with 6 days a month in office in downtown Toronto.

• Develop and Implement Social Media Strategies : Create and execute effective social media strategies across Scotiabank's global social channels, aligning with the brand's goals and objectives.
• Content Creation and Management : Oversee the development of social media content, including ideation, scriptwriting, and publishing, with a particular focus on TikTok and other emerging platforms. Manage content calendars to ensure timely and relevant postings.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization : Define and track social media KPIs, analyze performance metrics, and optimize content and strategy based on data-driven insights to enhance engagement and reach.
• Collaboration with Creative Teams : Work closely with multi-media designers and content experts to ensure that all social media content is informative, engaging, and aligned with the brand's voice and messaging.
• Influencer and Partnership Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with key influencers in Canadian markets to drive campaign success and amplify brand messaging.

Stay Updated with Industry Trends : Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies, ensuring that Scotiabank's social media strategies remain innovative and competitive in the market..

Must have skills :

Strong writing skills are required.

Nice to have :

Experience with social publishing platforms, social analytics tools, and social listening.
