- Oversee the daily operations of the communication / dispatch area
- Assist with hiring, training, coaching and performance management for Dispatch team
- Work alongside Dispatchers to receive and dispatch emergency calls by telephone and radio
- Respond to internal and external telephone calls
- Transfer information to the appropriate person in a courteous, professional, and timely manner
- Ensure appropriate and thorough documentation of multi-dispatch calls
- Assist with other duties as required

You!Candidates enrolled in or graduate of an Emergency Telecommunications or 911 Communications program or possess equivalent work experienceProven leadership skills with the ability to identify issues and problem solve effectivelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIndividuals that are highly organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize tasks efficientlyPrevious experience with multi-line phone systems is an assetAvailability to work flexible hours, including late evenings and on weekends and holidaysAble to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and / or face shield, non-slip shoes etc.)
