Principals will set direction by building a shared vision which is aligned with the Board’s multi-year strategic plan; and secure accountability to parents, students, the community and the Board.
Candidates will possess the following : QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Successful completion of Ontario School Principal Qualifications Course Part I and II Completion of Religious Education Specialist At least 5 years’ successful teaching experience with at least one year as a Vice-Principal preference will be given to candidates who have three (3) years’ experience as a Vice-Principal Experience in both school and Board-wide activities Experience in a variety of settings is preferred LEADERSHIP PRACTISES SHOULD INCLUDE : Setting directions Building relationships and developing people Developing the organization to support desired practices Improving the instructional program Securing accountability Qualified interested applicants must submit the following documentation electronically in a single PDF file : Resume, not more than 4 pages in length Copies of all qualifications (Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualifications, The Catholic Pastoral Reference Form for a Leadership Position must be completed by the applicant’s home parish priest within the last 12 months) Two letters of reference dated within the last 12 months;
