Stafffmax is currently assisting our client in Ottawa, ON, in the search for a skilled Human Resources Contractor for a 2-year term.

This is a remote work opportunity; however, candidates must be based in the Ottawa area to accommodate potential in-office requirements.

Location : Ottawa, ON (Remote Work) but will be required to return to the office

Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm

Term : 2- year position

Start date : May. 27 2024

Requirements :

  • Fluency in both English and French (Bilingual)
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Residency in the Ottawa area for potential office visits
  • Reliability Clearance required

Responsibilities : The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the following tasks :

  • Development of Statement of Merit Criteria
  • Creation of assessment tools and rating guides
  • Screening of applications
  • Assessment of candidates
  • Participation in interviews
  • Conducting reference checks
  • Leading informal discussions with unsuccessful candidates
  • Documentation of assessment results

Additional Information : The selection processes will involve positions within the EX-group classification, requiring an understanding of the TBS Key Leadership Competencies and experience applying them in selection processes.

This position falls under a Task Based (TA) Contract within the Task and Solutions Professional Services (TSPS) Supply Arrangement, aimed at supporting the growth of the organization's capacity to adjudicate immigration and refugee cases.
