REQUIRMENTS

EXPERIENCE WITH HAND AND POWER TOOLS
Experience in manufacturing, skid building, or production support
Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
Work in a manufacturing / warehouse environment with noise, dust, and machinery

Skid Builder

Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. – 4 : 00 p.m.

Pay rate : $19.00 / hr

Location : HWY 7 and JANE

Role Overview

Hands-on production support role responsible for building skids and operating a saw, Supports warehouse, production, and shipping operations while following strict health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Cut lumber and assemble skids to specifications

Operate powered equipment including an saw and nail gun

Perform basic repairs on damaged skids

Stage materials and finished products

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

Assist with material handling using pallet jacks or forklifts (if trained)

Health & Safety

Follow OHSA, industrial safety regulations, and machine-specific procedures

Use required PPE and lockout / tagout procedures

Conduct daily equipment inspections and report hazards or incidents

Participate in safety training and meetings
