JOB OVERVIEW
Come deliver the KF experience in the beautiful Okanagan valley and beyond. We are seeking a new recruit to join our growing team in Kelowna as a Flight Dispatcher.
The Flight Dispatcher is responsible to the Director of Flight Operations for exercising operational control over company flights operated under the Type A OCS and providing
support to the flight crews.
Flight Dispatchers are responsible for the preparation of Flight Packages, including route & weather analysis. They generate flight plans, and file them with the appropriate ATC’s.
Flight Dispatchers provide flight crews with a thorough weather & flight briefing, and communicate with stations & other internal departments as required.
REQUIREMENTS
We’re looking for a Dispatcher who currently holds their Transport Canada Dispatcher License and is an exceptional oral & written communicator.
Critical thinking & Problem solving are key in this role, as Dispatchers often must think on their feet when confronted with unexpected situations.
If you have all of these and can manage the occasional stressful demands of the position, you’re ideally suited for the Flight Dispatcher role.
