Community Services Summer Labourers

The Town of Peace River Community Services Department is accepting applications for three (3) temporary, full time Labourer position for the Summer of 2026. These positions will be responsible for maintaining outdoor facilities and sports fields.

Applicants shall possess the following :

• Experience with small hand and mechanical power tools.
• Experience with light mechanical equipment.
• Standard First Aid / CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
• WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Criminal Record Check.

What We Offer :

Hours :

Monday to Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm. Will include a rotating weekend split shift.

May require additional hours including evenings and weekends.

Wage : $25.33 per hour

Term : April 20, 2026 to August 21, 2026

Closing Date : Open until suitable candidates are found.

This position is within the scope of C.U.P.E. Local 898 and as such, you will be required to adhere to the articles contained within the Collective Agreement.
