Job description

We are currently searching for a Red Seal CNC Machinist or qualified CNC Machinist to work with a manufacturing company located in Langley, BC. This position offers AMAZING perks! We are a reputable company with steady growth in the last 50 years! This is a full-time opportunity with the ability to make OT pay!

Shift times : Day shift :

Monday to Thursday

6AM to 4PM

Afternoon shift : Monday to Thursday

3 : 45PM to 1 : 45 AM

About 16 CNC machinists work at this facility and you will be reporting to the VP of Operations.

  • Your tasks as a CNC Machinist :

  • Set up / Operate CNC machinery : Turning, Milling and Multi Axis Mill turn
  • Interpret and understand drawings and other furnished specifications
  • Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specification and drawing tolerances
  • Safely moving parts and materials with the use of overhead cranes
  • Ensuring machines are maintained
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
  • Comply with company safety and work policies
  • Collaborate with other team members to solve technical issues and maintain production schedule
  • Job Requirements as a CNC Machinist :

  • At least 5 years experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing / machine shop (ideally a job shop)
  • Red Seal / Journeyman CNC Machinist is ideal
  • Basic programming
  • Great communication skills and a team player
  • BRBC
