Project Engineer
Our client is currently seeking a Project Engineer for a 1 year contract with opportunity for renewal / extension. Successful candidate will be working primarily on Capital Projects work orders.
Responsibilities :
- Maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful project team
- Developing, planning, defining and executing capital investment projects
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to budget and required quality standards
- Ensuring that projects are effectively resourced
- Managing relationships with a wide range of groups, including plant Engineers / Operators, Maintenance / Safety groups
- Managing the work of in-house CapEx Engineering teams and external Engineering consultants, allocating and utilising resources
- Ensure project schedules are developed and maintained throughout all project stages, implement corrective measures as required
Requirements :
- 5+ years Petrochem experience
- Professional Engineer designation - Required
- Familiarity with multi-discipline project scopes, ie.- process / piping design, mechanical / civil & structural / electrical / instrument & controls Engineering
- Must be entitled work in Canada.
- NOTE : Having expertise within at least one Engineering discipline is an asset
