Student Intern - ITS

Parsons is seeking for an Engineer Internship position, in their Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Department at Markham office in Ontario for 2026 summer.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the ITS Engineering Team in conducting studies and designs for intelligent transportation system infrastructures for various agencies across Canada and in international projects. General tasks include :

• Attend meetings, coordinate projects, conduct field work such as site survey and inspection as required.
• Generate / Review design layout, electrical wiring, communication network diagrams, construction details.
• Write and edit project construction specifications.
• Contract administrations, review shop drawings, equipment submittals, perform site inspections, produce report and punch lists
