Mattina Mechanical Limited (MML) is a well-established, privately owned mechanical contractor based in Hamilton, Ontario, with over 45 years of experience delivering HVAC and sheet metal projects across ICI and mid-to-high-rise residential construction. This is a new vacancy within the estimating team.

Compensation Overview

This role offers a competitive base salary aligned to experience and estimating responsibility.

In addition to base salary, MML offers employer RRSP contributions, a comprehensive benefits program, and eligibility for a discretionary performance bonus based on company and individual performance.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, the HVAC Sheet Metal Estimator works closely with the Chief Estimator on competitive bids, take-offs, and scope reviews for high-value mechanical projects.

• Preparing HVAC and sheet metal estimates using Trimble AutoBid and take-off software
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and addendums
• Issuing RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors
• Preparing bid packages and scope letters
• Supporting handovers to project teams after award
• Reviewing actuals versus estimates to continuously improve accuracy
