Job descriptionAssist in building forms for concrete. Cut, shape, and join specialty materials per specifications. Look for and fix deficiencies. Check accuracy of work and make adjustments as required. Study blueprints for work planning. Construct and form chutes for pouring concrete. Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level. Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and take appropriate measures. Loading / unloading materials. Perform labourer duties in addition to carpentry work. Maintain clean, organized work areas; remove debris and hazards; support end‑of‑shift cleanup. Preference will be given to Registered Carpenter Apprentices from a recognized provincial training authority. Non‑registered carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade. Certifications : CSTS & WHMIS. Fall Protection is an asset. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Role : Jardeg is currently recruiting for Carpenter Apprentices to work with our Airport Trail Project team in Calgary. The schedule is 5 days on, 2 days off; Monday to Friday. There may be an opportunity to work overtime (including extended hours, weekends, and nights) if the site requires.
