Senior Product Manager, Multiplayer Services

The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Unity Multiplayer Services team. Multiplayer Services offer some of the most essential services a developer needs to create their multiplayer game : game server hosting, matchmaker, relay, lobby, etc.

We are also sitting next to the biggest engine on the planet and we are looking for someone to build the next generation of customers journey : how they will build their multiplayer game with the Unity Editor and how they will seamlessly scale to the Cloud.

In this role, you will work on all aspects of product management from user research to strategy to GTM execution. We value prior experience in game development, SaaS products or product-led growth strategy.

But what we are really looking for are passionate people above all. In addition to your strong understanding of product and technologies, you’ll leverage your communication skills, both in writing and in person.

You will work closely with developers, UX, Program Management and GTM teams to bring those new experiences to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Own and lead product strategy rooted in the customer experience and success to enable strong PLG across our ecosystem
• Work closely with our Development and UX teams to craft seamless user experiences that will bridge the gap between the Engine, our services and beyond
• Use metrics and user feedback to find the signal from the noise and help inform decision
• Own and lead the GTM plans, with an eye on tactical problem solving and execution
• Represent the initiative to the rest of the organization (developers, marketing, sales, leadership)

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in game development or SaaS products as a developer, a product manager, a game producer or a UX designer
• Proven track record of shipping products or games on the market
• Highly collaborative : you are great at building relationships across the business and align your stakeholders on ambitious strategies.

You’re in charge of making the best possible decisions, but it’s also your job to provide clarity and foster collaboration

• Self-starter with great ownership : we are looking for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and drive their products end-to-end, from requirements to delivery on the market
• A storyteller at heart : you know how to craft a convincing story using data points and user feedback. You understand how your strategy meshes with the company’s goals

You might also have

• Experience with game engines, ideally with but not limited to Unity
• Experience with B2B or developers-facing products
• Experience of shipping a multiplayer game as part of the production team
