Electrical Maintenance
Your tasks
- Maintain the process and building electrical equipment in operation to ensure maximum availability to maximize production efficiency.
- Develop and implement an electrical preventative maintenance program in SAP.
- Implement practical continuous improvement initiatives as appropriate to improve operating results.
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, policies and procedures.
- Perform daily workplace inspections to keep the maintenance department audit ready at all times.
- Coordinate the purchase of spare parts, tools, and electrical maintenance supplies to ensure production needs are met.
- Monitor electrical maintenance costs and operate within the established maintenance budget.
Your profile
Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma
Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Electrician
Experience with equipment up to 600V and some experience with 27.6kV
Experience with control systems, PLCs and instrumentation maintenance
Good skills in SAP and Microsoft Office
Industrial maintenance department supervisor
Mechanical aptitude or experience an assest
Digital Control System experience
Your future
Reporting to the VP Operations the job holder is responsible for the electrical functioning of the process by executing preventative and non-preventative electrical maintenance.
He / she is a member of the Leadership Team being responsible for the safety and technical operations of the electrical maintenance department.
Keeping the process equipment maintained and available for production and contributing to the establishment and maintenance of a safe workplace will contribute to the success of the company.
