Our client in the Markham Region is growing and looking to expand their team and bring an assistant skilled machine operator / printing press operator in their facility.
Job title : Printing Press Operator.
Must have experience in the printing industry
Knowledge of using CI presses.
Shift Timings are Afternoon : 3PM - 11 : 00PM
Pay : $28+ / hourly

Responsibilities
- Safely sets up, operates, and monitors press machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
- Completes press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
- Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
- Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
- Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries. Wear appropriate-personal protective equipment(PPE) as required by safety policies and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
- Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they
arise.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
HS / GED required; HS / GED preferred
2-4 years of experience in a related field experience in a related field required.
This position has no leadership duties.
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential / sensitive information.
Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
