• We are seeking students currently enrolled in an engineering co-op (or internship) degree program,
• available for
• 4-16 month terms
• starting January 2026
• Only students in work experience programs will be considered
• ## Qualifications :
• Currently enrolled in a civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical, or chemical or related engineering co-op (or internship) degree program from a post-secondary institution
• Assets :
• Experience with related computer software applications (e.g. Google Workspace Applications, AutoCAD, Adobe Reader, Civil 3D, Solidworks, Microsoft Applications, Bluebeam)
• Experience with project coordination and project management
• Understanding of engineering drawings and technical documents
• Skills required for success :
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team
• Committed to building and maintaining relationships with internal and external parties
• Ability to accurately analyze information
• Experience working in a dynamic environment and able to adapt to changing priorities

• Position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to work from both home and the worksite.
• The weekly hours of work for this position are currently under review and may change at a future time. Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton / Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance.

• Monday - Friday, 33.75 hours per week or 40 hours per week depending on the business area. Please note - some areas may require working on weekends as well.
• Salary :
• 33.75 Hours per week : $31.360 - $36.587 (Hourly)
