Contractor Confirmations & Counterparty Management Analyst

Our client, an oil and gas company are looking to hire Contractor Confirmations & Counterparty Management Analyst to their team for an initial 6-month contract with a possibility of extension / conversion. This role is currently hybrid, 4 days per week in office in Calgary.

Your responsibilities include :

• Counterparty Onboarding and Management : Oversee the onboarding of new commodity counterparties, including customer setup, KYC screening, and maintaining counterparty data in trading and ERP systems.
• Trade Confirmation Management : Process and manage daily commodity trade confirmations across various ETRM platforms, ensuring alignment with commercial contracts and company policies.
• Data Maintenance and Cleanup : Collaborate on data cleanup and ensure accurate counterparty information across ETRM and ERP systems in preparation for system upgrades.
• System Information Updates : Ensure systems such as SAP, Solarc Right Angle, Allegro Horizon, and others are updated with current and accurate counterparty data.
• Documentation and Compliance : Maintain organized and accurate trade confirmation records, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and internal controls.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration : Act as a liaison between Trading / Marketing, Contracts, Legal, Credit, Treasury, and other departments to facilitate seamless operations.
• Audit Support : Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to policies and controls.

Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for enhancing operational processes, controls, and customer service, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Must Have Qualifications :
