Job description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Preaching & Teaching Teamwork
Participate in deacon board meetings; serve with church members for Chinese Ministries, English Ministries and Children and Youth Ministries.
Young couples’ ministry
Small Group Ministries
Pastoral Care Community Outreach / Evangelism Administration
Denominational and Interdenominational Partnership

Character Qualifications

As prescribed in 1 Timothy 3 : 1-7 and Titus 1 : 5-9, we value spiritual maturity, holiness and blamelessness in every area of life.

Position Qualifications

Pursuing or completing a degree from an accredited theological seminary of evangelical faith, or equivalent, is required.

Fluency requirement in Cantonese and English; Mandarin fluency highly favoured.

Familiarity and experience with a North American church setting.

Comfortable with use of social media, texting, and apps to communicate.

Skilled in the use of computer office software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs Canva and website software skills highly favoured.

Hours of Work

Full Time based on a 40-hour workweek. Work is required during evenings and weekends.

Salary & Benefits

Salary is based on experience and education.

Extended health benefits & vacation hours provided.

Payscale as per Evangelical Free Church Guidelines.
