Job Summary
This role leads the development and execution of launch strategies for Shiseido and Clé de Peau Beauté, including forecasting, pricing, and promotional planning. It manages core business operations such as SKU performance, discontinuations, and assortment strategy, while serving as a key contact for demand planning and inventory control. The position also oversees seasonal promotional programs, e-Boutique initiatives, and large-scale sponsorships.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop Launch Strategies for Shiseido and Cle de Peau Beaute
- Develop Launch Plans and manage implementation and reporting
- Develop Launch MSRP pricing strategy and approvals
- Manage Launch & Promo Summary and champion weekly operational meetings
- Create local Tester Conversion SAP SKU and BOM for launches
- Create Seasonal Marketing Presentations
- Manage Core Business for Shiseido and Cle de Peau Beaute
- Core SKU management – Retail Sales and Gross Shipment Unit Forecast by SKU
- Manage Discontinuation Plan (by Retailers and Warehouse)
- Key contact for the Demand Planning team
- Core SKU Tester conversion approvals for Inventory Control team
- Core SKU Retail Pricing Strategy
- Manage Assortment Matrix by Store Groups
- Manage Promotional Program and Development
- Manage Promotional Program seasonally with Promotional Development Specialist direct report
- Oversee SAP SKU set-up for locally developed programs
- Work with Digital Shared Service team for e-Boutique launch plans, promotional program and assets
- Project management of Sponsorship engagement with PR agency and Communications team
- Project manage large-scale retailer events and conferences
- Manage relationships and contracts for collaborations
- Work with Communications Team to develop strong outreach
- Work with PR Agency for event execution
Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders
- Internal brand teams Sales & Operations, Field Sales Team, Finance, and Distribution Center
- Retailer corporate offices, PR agency
- Forecasting and SKU management for launches and core businesses
- Develop and manage GWP budget
- Oversee BOM process for sets and GWP assembly
- SAP champion for local SKU development and core catalogue
Qualifications & Competencies
- University Degree or College Diploma in Business related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years’ marketing, operations and/or sales management experience ideally in the cosmetic industry
- Experience with SAP is an asset
- Strong leadership, analytical, organizational and negotiating abilities
- Strong presentation and communications skills and interpersonal skills
- Must be detail oriented, accurate, ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Illustrator
