Job Summary
Position Overview :
We're seeking a Tax Accountant to join our team, focusing on Canadian income tax accounting and compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for developing processes to ensure adherence to Canadian tax standards, preparing corporate income tax returns, and conducting transfer pricing documentation.
You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including CRA and provincial tax authorities, to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.

Location : 100 Kellogg Lane, London ON
Hybrid Work Environment - Two days per week in office.
Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Senior Income Tax Accountants, we'd ask you to do the following for us :
- Assist with the development of processes to ensure compliance with Canadian income tax accounting standards.
- Assist in preparing working papers for transfer pricing documentation concerning related parties.
- Complete Canadian corporate income tax returns and associated work papers for the group.
- Assist in generating Canadian tax provision workbooks as part of our annual financial reporting process.
- Compile budget figures related to income taxes, intercompany charges, and sales tax expenses.
- Conduct inter-company accounts reconciliation and corporate income tax accounts reconciliation.
- Prepare working papers for tax return preparation across various jurisdictions.
- Assist in communications with CRA and provincial tax authorities to ensure accurate assessment / reassessment of tax returns.
- Assist in coordinating with external auditors and CRA / provincial tax authorities to address audit inquiries.
- Collaborate with external Tax Advisors.
- Assist in the integration of potential merger and acquisition activities.

Here's how we'll know you'll be successful in the role :
- Possess 3+ years of accounting and corporate tax experience within the Canadian tax function of a large corporation or public accounting firm.
- Strongly preferred to hold a CPA designation.
- Thorough understanding of Canadian taxation laws and regulations.
- Experience in preparing corporate tax returns, income tax provisions, and transfer pricing documentation.
- Proficient in common computer applications and accounting and tax-related programs
