Financial Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. In this Contract to permanent role, you will play a vital part in managing financial data and ensuring accurate reporting within a healthcare-focused organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while working collaboratively with various departments.

Responsibilities :

• Collect, analyze, and manage financial data to support organizational budgeting and decision-making processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal use and external funders.
• Assist in forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
• Develop templates, tracking tools, and schedules to streamline program and grant reporting.
• Collaborate with department managers to consolidate financial information and resolve variances.
• Create presentation materials and summaries to support leadership and planning meetings.
• Monitor reporting deadlines and ensure timely submissions of financial documents.
• Maintain accurate and compliant records for financial planning and reporting purposes.
• Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and adhere to confidentiality standards.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with billing, invoice processing, and data entry.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or non-profit environment is an asset.
• Understanding of financial compliance and record-keeping standards.
