Primary responsibility will be hardware troubleshooting and workstation (desktop, laptop) PC imaging to address problems with machines that have been deployed to field units across the country. As well, they will be engaged in problem resolution for other issues reported by customers. The records assigned will be the more simple problems. Here is a list of technical skills the person will need :
- Windows Operating systems (XP, Vista, Windows 7) (Must have)
- Microsoft Office
- Basic networking concepts
- WiFi technology
- VPN
- PC Hardware troubleshooting and repair (Must have)
- Imaging technologies (RIS, Image X, WDS) (Must have)
- If the candidate has Lotus Notes and Blackberry experience, it would be a bonus but not mandatory
- Minimum of 1, preferably 2 years of experience in PC support and / or deskside support
