Tutor Doctor provides one-to-one, personalized tutoring. This is a part-time contract position. We want undergraduates, graduates, teachers, and subject matter experts!

We serve students mainly in the North Toronto area – Maple, Woodbridge, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Markham, Scarborough, North York

Position and Duties

If you like what you’re reading so far, we are currently hiring SSAT Tutors who have experience with standardized tests. You are comfortable with core subjects and would ideally have experience with SSAT, SAT, ACT, and IELTS.

As an SSAT Tutor, you can be relied upon to :

Travel to students' homes (pre-screened)

Schedule consistent weekly tutoring appointments with students or their parents

Analyze the student’s skills and prepare relevant material and strategies for the tests

Qualifications

As a Tutor Doctor SSAT Tutor , you are someone who has :

Proficiency in teaching and reviewing all content related to standardized tests

Graduated from or is currently enrolled in post secondary education (graduates and undergraduates)

Previous teaching / tutoring experience, especially exposure to different learning styles

Access to a vehicle

Successful candidates :

Need to have some availability between 4PM-9PM on weeknights and weekends, as these are generally the times requested by clients

Must be open to completing a criminal background check, if not already completed
