Technical Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities :

  • Responding to and processing incoming calls and orders
  • Entering orders into system
  • Developing knowledge base on current products and new products
  • Providing quotations and product information
  • Troubleshooting (freight problems, expediting etc.)
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Maintain excellent logs and conduct scheduled updates with the sales team
  • Collaborate closely with and provide feedback to other team members to drive results and portfolio growth

Desired Skills and Experience :

  • A minimum of 2-4 years experience in an inside sales and customer service role
  • Post-secondary education or diploma in a technical field is ideal
  • Valve and valve maintenance (lubricants, sealants, fittings, pumps, etc.) is a definite asset
  • A new grad from a technical post secondary program will also be considered
  • A background in selling industrial and commercial products is an asset.
  • Strong business and technical acumen and professional approach to offering effective services and solutions.
  • Demonstrated proficient use of CRM AND ERP (Salesforce and SAP) is an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
  • Strong team player with the willingness to be involved in multiple aspects of the business
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean criminal background
  • Must have a valid passport
