Job Description :
We are seeking a results-oriented and dynamic Business Development Representative with a technical sales profile to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence by driving sales of our innovative Reverse Vending Machines and end-to-end deposit return solutions.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities :
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct in-depth consultations on-site with potential clients to understand their specific needs and develop and deliver corresponding proposals
- Consultative sales skills for communicating key USPs in different customer scenarios
- Collaborate with clients on pricing and contractual agreements, utilizing strong negotiation skills to close deals.
- Provide technical expertise to potential clients, offering insights into the functionality and benefits of Reverse Vending Machines as well as deposit return systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively communicating the value proposition RLG’s hardware, software and operational solutions
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
Experience :
3 – 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the environmental or recycling hardware and technology sector.Knowledge of deposit return systems in Canada considered a strong assetExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong negotiation and closing abilities.Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.Experience in developing cross-industry collaborations considered an assetStrong understanding of sustainability principles and environmental impact.Skills and Qualifications
