We are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to support complex energy projects across Canada. The role will focus on mechanical engineering deliverables, working with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement power generation solutions.

What you’ll do here :

• Design mechanical piping and equipment for renewable and fossil power generation facilities.
• Prepare mechanical equipment and packaged equipment specifications, data sheets, RFQs, and technical bid evaluations.
• Review mechanical equipment vendor drawings and data. Interface with suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines, and detailers / designers.
• Ensure effective communication with other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare construction / installation scopes of work for mechanical systems.
• Participate in the development of PFDs and P&IDs.
• Perform piping design activities including sizing, pressure drop calculations, stress analysis, and pipe support design.
• Mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
