The Opportunity!

Reporting to the Director ofClientServices,theClient Relationship Specialistroleis responsible forservice and managing our client’s day to day expectations along with working with theClient Development Specialist(CDS)to sell andassistin the sales ofdifferent typesof insurance.

Day in the life-

Support theClient Development Specialistwith new builder membership applications, includingclient follow up, and noting / uploading supporting documents to the Broker Management System (WIMS).

Introduce builder membersto WIMS, training them on databasefunctionalityandassistingtheirofficeas necessary.

Develop andmaintainstrong, positive relationships with builder members and act as a subject matter expert on new home warranty.

Collection of builder fees, risk premium and collateral security per terms andconditionsletters.

Make renewal and expiry calls to existing clients,ensuringapplications are completedandsubmittedto Underwriting.

Review and enter completion certificates, upload incomplete documents to registration.

Reviewenrollments and collect all supporting documentsnecessary to complete and enter a new home registration.

Complete all membershipchangessuchupdates tocontact information, and collection of documents needed to process shareholder changes.

Work with theClient Development Specialistto quote and cross-sell insurance.

Maintain a current understanding of specified sections of the acts and regulationsregardinghome warranty insurance in the geographical area of responsibility.

Provide builders with guidance with respect to their obligations / requirements under home warranty protection regulations.

All Administrative duties as reasonablyrequired.

What you will bringto our team-

Level 1 or 2 General Insurance License or the willingness and desire to obtain.

Proficient technical skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other standard business software.)

Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Exceptional communication, both verbal and written.

Ability to work in a team and independently.

Self-motivatedanda positive attitude.

Experience in New Home Warranty,Real Estate conveyancing,Insurance and / or Construction would be considered an assetbut is notrequired.

Post-Secondary education would be considered an asset.

Fluency in Cantonese or Punjabi would be an asset but is notrequired.

Salary Expectations -

The expected salary range for this position is$45,000 to $55,000and will beimpactedby factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
