Job Summary

Join our client's dynamic team as a Warehouse Lead Hand, where you'll play a critical role in managing day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities. With a focus on customer service, cost savings, and operational efficiency, this full-time position offers a starting salary of $60,000. Located in they're vibrant facility, you'll work closely under the direction of the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth operations and achieve excellence.

Location : Brantford, ON

Pay Rate : $60,000 Starting Salary; Benefits; Paid Vacation

Shift : Steady Days; Monday - Friday

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee inbound and outbound operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventories using cycle counting and manage the material flow of the warehouse.
  • Handle logistics, production scheduling, and housekeeping.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to meet sales orders requirements and fulfillment.
  • Ensure internal controls are effective and operations are efficient.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures and best practices.
  • Follow preventative and corrective actions.
  • Professionally respond to customer concerns and queries.
  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with customers.
  • Foster constructive and cooperative working relationships with team members and cross-functionally.
  • Execute other warehouse-related tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehousing and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Outlook, MS Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in an MRP environment is an asset.
  • Pro-active with strong problem-solving skills and analytical decision-making ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • College Diploma in Materials Management or equivalent experience / education.
