The Opportunity
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Working with a team of Maintenance Technicians to ensure all work orders are delegated and completed in a timely manner
- Working with staff on any challenges they face, coaching, mentoring, etc.
- Daily walk-throughs of the building to ensure it is up to code
- Strong working knowledge of the Regie du logement
- Resident relations on an on-going basis. Dealing with any issues in a professional and timely manner, providing superior customer service
- Ensuring rents are collected and up to date on a regular basis
- Obtaining quotes from contractors and awarding work
- Completing purchase orders, change orders, etc.
- Supporting Senior Property Manager with budgeting and ensuring annual budgets are adhered to
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience as a senior property administrator, community manager, regional property administrator or junior property manager
- Must have experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of a RESIDENTIAL / RENTAL portfolio
- Yardi software experience is a definite asset
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Understanding of TAL legislation an asset
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Have strong communication skills, able to manage client relationships
- Have excellent problem-solving skills, able to think on your feet
Education
- Completion of secondary school an asset
- Post-secondary education in administration or any related field a strong asset
