Job descriptionAll weather conditions Commercial building Manufacturing or processing industry Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment Perform safety and security checks Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair Work with minimal supervision Maintain accurate records Ensure compliance with government regulations Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions Assemble stationary industrial machinery Adjust, repair or replace mechanical system parts Tool grinders Drill presses Mechanical system Power tools Work under pressure Repetitive tasks Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Bending, crouching, kneeling Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Dependability Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Initiative Organized Reliability Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Paramedical services coverage Vision care benefits
