Job description

Are you hands-on and technically inclined? As a Field Service Technician, you will conduct maintenance checks + diagnose repairs for lift trucks (fork lifts) directly at customer sites!

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot defective mechanical or electrical parts and perform repairs efficiently / effectively
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Diagnose issues and order necessary parts according to technical manuals.
  • Document and analyze breakdowns following established procedures.
  • Serve as the primary contact between our company and customers, balancing technical expertise with strong client interaction + superior customer service

    • Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or related field.
  • Automotive / Truck Certification (310T / 310S) or Heavy Duty Technician Certification (421A)
  • not mandatory
  • ICE-IE-P Industrial Equipment Propane Certification is an asset.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in battery and engine-powered material handling equipment.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, measuring devices, and electrical / electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Strong understanding of Lock-out / Tag-out procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license.
