Senior Assessor (Ontario)

SUMMARY

The Building Condition Assessor II applies building condition assessment processes and technical standards in conducting (specialized) asset assessments for the purpose of identifying asset condition and deficiencies.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Applies knowledge of building condition assessment processes and technical standards in conducting asset assessments, annual building inspections and other specialized asset assessments
• Conducts asset condition assessments
• Identifies and evaluates specialized asset component and systems conditions and deficiencies
• Completes asset assessment condition reports utilizing asset assessment management software
• Provides recommendations and cost estimates for building envelopes, components and systems repair or replacement for inclusion in the capital budget plan
• Lead scheduling and coordinates site activities
• Other duties as assigned

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $61,850 - $84,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
