Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Milling Machine Operator (Road Grinder) to operate large asphalt milling / cold planer machines on municipal commercial and heavy civil road construction projects.

This role is ideal for a skilled operator who takes pride in precision work equipment care and safe jobsite execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate large asphalt milling / road grinder machines safely and efficiently
• Perform depth-controlled milling in accordance with project specifications
• Conduct daily pre-trip and equipment inspections
• Work closely with ground crews truck drivers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all health & safety policies traffic control plans and site procedures
• Maintain clean orderly and safe work areas
• Report mechanical issues deficiencies or hazards immediately
• Complete required documentation (inspection logs work tickets etc.)
