Job Description

This is a dynamic, hands-on position ideal for individuals who are mature, responsible, and able to manage a wide range of tasks. Successful candidates will be offered a 3 month contract with the potential to extend, working on projects in the Lower Mainland and throughout Western Canada. The role will require travel to remote sites across British Columbia. When working locally, the schedule will be Monday to Friday, while remote site work will follow a 2-week on, 1-week off rotation.

Responsibilities

• Daily responsibilities will vary and will include different carpentry and labour tasks for the construction of camp and modular facilities, foundation to finish.
• Fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.
• Repairing and renovating modular buildings.
• Building stairs, decks, landings and covered entrances.
• Rigging and building setting on foundations with trucks and / or cranes.
• Load and unload materials and move materials to designated work areas.
• Constant attention to safety around the site and ability to abide by all safety rules & procedures.
• Notify supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Maintain communication with supervisor.

Qualifications

Hold a valid driver's licence and have a reliable vehicle.
