Job Title: Forklift Operator - Afternoon shift

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for order picking and replenishing products using various equipment, including Reach forklifts, Dockstockers, and power pallet jacks. You will also use an RF scanner and perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Additionally, the role requires computer work, data entry, inventory management, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach forklifts, Dockstockers, and power pallet jacks.
• Use RF scanners for inventory management.
• Perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Conduct data entry and manage inventory.
• Assist in receiving inbound shipments and putting away products.
• Help in other departments as needed if forklifts are unavailable.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts.
• Experience with Reach, Dockstockers and power pallet jacks.
• Comfortable with regular heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Experience using RF scanners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Alberta Forklift Certification is a plus.
• Experience with deep reach forklifts is advantageous.

Work Environment

Located in the SE of Calgary, the warehouse supports 30 small clients. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 11 PM. The team consists of 50 warehouse staff members, with a culture that promotes finding solutions independently. The environment can be dynamic and occasionally disorganized, providing an opportunity for those who thrive in less structured settings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
