Position DescriptionErin Village Community Church has just finished a major renovation of their historic building within the beautiful hamlet of Erin Ontario. We are a body of believers worshipping in the heart of Erin which is part of the County of Wellington. Wellington consists of two towns and five townships and is considered part of the Greater Golden Horseshoe. The population of Wellington is roughly , with the town of Erin being roughly 13,. The township of Erin is in the process of completing a large new housing development minutes from the church.Position Summary :

The primary role for our Lead Pastor will be to provide expository preaching to our growing congregation, support individual spiritual growth and maturity and to encourage our church family to live out the great commision.

The success of your role is evidenced by caring, preaching, teaching, leading and communicating. As a shepherd, our preaching pastor will care for our sheep. As a preaching pastor you will provide solid systematic biblical preaching. As a teacher, the expectation is that you would guide and facilitate our congregation to grow spiritually. As a leader we desire that our pastor would demonstrate and empower our congregation to move us forward in our goal to reach Erin for Christ.

Education and Experience :

Above education and experience the successful candidate will exemplify a passion to see the lost reached for Christ. As a minimum, the incumbent must be willing to work towards accreditation in the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination. The incumbent should possess a degree from a recognized educational institution in a relevant discipline and must have successfully demonstrated his ability to function at a Senior Pastor level.
