Your Responsibilities :

• Actively collaborate with the controller to define and strengthen the company’s internal control environment.
• Participate in the implementation of internal controls, documentation, and process flows.
• Perform detailed reconciliation of balance sheets and income statements to ensure their accuracy.
• Periodically analyze assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring data consistency and developing action plans to address discrepancies.
• Conduct month-end closing of assigned accounts in compliance with deadlines and accounting standards.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS) and internal controls (SOX) by implementing best practices.
• Manage fixed assets, work-in-progress, loans, and other assets effectively.
• Produce and analyze relevant financial information for reports to the headquarters’ accounting coordinators.
• Create and maintain detailed office procedures to standardize accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
• Assist the accounting coordinator in preparing reports for headquarters by providing accurate and up-to-date data.

What We’re Looking For :

• University degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance or accounting, or any other relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• CPA designation (an asset).
• Experience in the manufacturing sector (an asset).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOX, and office tools.
• Good knowledge of SAP.
• Experience in an accounting firm (an asset).
• Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation.
