Tooling Engineer / Designer

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design Extrusion Dies and tooling to make Automotive Seals.
• Analyze Extrusion Die flow path using CFD software.
• Work with Machinists and Tool Makers to help coordinate tool builds.
• Participate in die trials to assist in developing extrusion production process.
• Revise Extrusion Die Design to improve part quality.
• Provide extrusion tooling quotes.
• Maintain organized design libraries on computer hard drive.
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, Workers Safety Insurance Act and Cooper Standard Automotive Health, Safety and Environment Procedures.
