They are a leader in end-to-end product and service-based solutions spanning food preparation and service, food safety, facilities maintenance, cleaning and sanitization.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Outbound Sales Representative will work closely with team members to provide outstanding sales service to customers by conducting proactive outbound calling.
In the role, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and following up on potential leads. Your ability to build rapport, listen effectively and offer solutions to achieve customer satisfaction will be critical to your success.
What you’ll be doing :
- Conduct research to identify leads, manage prospects, and secure new business opportunities.
- Engage with customers through outbound calls, follow up on leads, to provide information about products and services.
- Stay updated on product / service information and communicate changes effectively.
- Develop and manage a CRM database for current and potential customers.
- Utilize various communication channels, such as emails, calls, and social messages, for outreach to potential customers and lead generation.
- Generate and deliver quotes and other sales-related documents.
- Address potential customers’ inquiries and provide additional information as needed.
- Establish and maintain contact with existing clients to inform them about new products / services and identify sales opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction post-sale by maintaining ongoing contact with clients.
- Successfully close sales transactions and meet or exceed sales targets.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a high school diploma / GED or equivalent qualification. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position, with experience using tools such as Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Exposure to SAP Business One would also be considered an asset. Additionally, the candidate should be highly organized and self-motivating while possessing strong written and verbal communication skills.
