Role : Human Resources Technician

Our client is dynamic, constantly growing and evolving is currently looking for a bilingual Human Resources Technician to join their team in the Montreal area.
Responsibilities :
- Provide direct administrative support to the Human Resources Manager for all HR related matters
- Oversee and actively contribute to the entire recruitment cycle
- Manage learning and development practices
- Provide quality service to all employees by professionally handling all complaints and inquiries
- Contribute to the implementation of human resources strategies, policies, procedures and programs.
- Ensure effective monitoring of all day-to-day human resources functions in order to achieve departmental and organizational objectives
- Provide appropriate advice on legal issues and compliance with market labor laws
- Oversee the payroll process
- Oversee employee group insurance program
- Update and maintain employee benefits and employment status
- Participate in other human resources projects and tasks as required
- Contribute to the development of human resources policies and procedures
- Oversee the entire recruitment process (from identification of needs to selection of candidates and presentation of offer)
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to general management
- Manage training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups and communication with managers, trainers and customer representatives
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback and address concerns related to training initiatives
- Oversee the development of learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, virtual sessions and multimedia presentations
- Manage evaluation measures and methods to assess the impact and effectiveness of training programs
The required qualifications :
- Human Resources / Business Undergraduate degree strongly preferred
- CHRP Certification Preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources Role
- Knowledge of CNESST laws
- Positive and proactive approach towards solving problems and meeting challenges
- Must possess effective oral and written communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in French and English
- Ability to deal with confidential information and interact with all levels of employees
- Excellent computer skills
