Design, develop, and release powertrain, differential, EDM, and cradle mounts from concept to vehicle launch

Coordinate validation and testing with cross-functional teams (NVH, Dynamics, Vehicle Integration, Stress Lab, CAE)

Lead component design using FMEA and CAE tools

Ensure vehicle packaging compliance and drawing / model integrity

Manage change processes (CN, EBOM / CODEP) and issue tracking (GIMs)

Oversee component validation (DVP&R)

Support builds at OEM assembly and supplier plants

Design fastened joints and develop torque specifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field with 2 to 5 years of experience in automotive.

Experience in powertrain and chassis system design / release

Proficient in FMEA, CAE, and DVP&R processes

Knowledge of vehicle packaging and drawing best practices

Familiarity with change management systems (CN, EBOM / CODEP)

Skilled in issue tracking with GIMs

Experience with fastener joint design and torque specification development

Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams for validation / testing

Build support experience at OEM and supplier facilities
